Utah Ice Fishing

Park City Ice Fishing Guides

Ice fishing in Park City is a unique activity and a great way to get out and enjoy Utah's winter landscape.  Our professional guides have years of experience and we know how to turn challenging conditions into a safe, unique and quality experience.  Our trips are family friendly and it can be a great alternative for you and the kids on your ski vacation.

We primarily focus on our lower-altitude bodies of water during the winter months. Both Rockport and Echo Reservoirs are part of the Utah State Parks System. Providing easy access and basic facilities.  Both are approximately 25-35 minutes drive from Park City, Utah.  With some advanced notice we can explore some private water options as well.

How it all works

Included in our regular (half-day) guided trips is all ice fishing gear including spacious insulated shelters, heaters, augers, rods, reels, terminal tackle, bait, lures and a thermos of cider or cocoa.

Morning and afternoon half day trips (3 Hours) are available. Transportation is NOT included to and from the the water. Your guide will meet you at the designated boat ramp and will transport you to the shelter via tracked vehicle. Each of our guides can handle up to four anglers and we will call in advance to confirm the details of your trip.

The Snowdog is a unique element of our program.  It is a tracked vehicle that we use to porter gear and guests back and forth across the ice.  It provides us with the advantages of being able to both set up a more robust base camp/shelter and to travel further with you across the ice to get away from the crowds. It is a lot of fun, and we're sure your Snowdog ride will be a highlight of your trip!
